Make sure you wash exactly as directions say. I'm sure all the negative reviews is because of that it had to be we have a total of 8 bamboo sheet sets laundry them like we should and they had the same softness , etc as when I took them out of package. I don't understand why this and the tencil sheets are the only ones people use, if you do chances are you will be looked. I know they are not cheep but if taken care of per directions and having more then one set to alternate that price will pay for itself over time. Very very very soft and extremely cool sleeping. If you have a memory foam mattress with cooling gel make sure you don't use a waterproof mattress protector buy one made of tencil. It's waterproof and it breathes your mattress has to breath in order for the sheets to sleep cool the tencil fabric protector also had s cooling effect from the material made from euculiptious tree and actually sleeps cooler then bamboo A mattress or bed with memory foam infused with gel or graphite or both a tencil mattress cover and tencil or 100% bamboo sheets you have the perfect bed and a great nights sleep don't buy bamboo or tencil blended with other material your waiting your money. They are cheaper but do not come close to the real thing. I for sure am getting nothing for writing this review but after 4 back surgeries a bed means a lot to me and being able to sleep is a health concern for all of us. These sheets are great and the company has about the best customer service I've come across
