I washed them before 1st use. The tag says to avoid tumble drying which confuses me. I put them in the dryer, and they came out fine. My shout color catcher did not collect any color, so they seem colorfast in the light grey. They are soft and feel cooler than my traditional bed sheets. Both of these are a win in my book.Pros:These sheets will fit those deep mattresses. They mean it when they say that. My mattress is standard, but the depth of the fitted sheet was fingertip to the crook of my elbow deep. AND the top sheet was also extra wide to drape over both sides of your deep mattress.Soft, feel cooling.Thinner, but not "thin." They are cooling, so you don't want bulk, but they are NOT thread-bare if that makes sense.****Edit: I forgot to add that the pillow cases are "envelope pillowcases" which is a HUGE win in my book.Cons:No tags on the fitted sheet to help you find which end goes where. NO "short end" tagsI would prefer a thicker elastic on the fitted sheet. I find thinner elastic doesn't hold the sheet in place as securely, that's my preference.Still unclear on the "no tumble drying." If I can't put it in the dryer to dry....why buy the sheets?I have a vouple sets of 100% bamboo rayon sheets and they are super soft, cooling, and expensive. When insaw that this product is made of the same material for half or 1/3 of the price, I decided ro give it a try.Compare to my other sheets, these sheets are soft, but has a 'stiffer' feel tonthem... like a lightly starched shirt.. if that makes sense. It does provide a cooling feelwhen laying on it and it doesn't warm uo fast to keep you cooler longer. The stitching is well done and it is deep enough to fit my 10 in. mattress plus an extra layer of pillow top.Overall, the main difference is the softness... my other brand boasts that theor sheets get softer the more I wash and use them, and they were right. As for this set of sheets, I feel that the price is fair for an almost comparable, more expensive version. If this set gets softer the more I use them, I may be converted permanently. These are certainly worth the price to splurge on, in my opinion...We are experimenting with various fabrics for our summer bedding in the hot, hot southern US. These bamboo sheets do manage cooling and heating pretty well. They are soft but not to the point where they are threatening to pill like some bamboo viscose I've seen. I do wish they had tags for marking sides and top and bottom which is especially needed on a king set. The sheets are tight around the corners of our standard king but we have a lot of loose sheeting. I think a tighter elastic on the fitted sheet would help. We like these well enough but have some eucalyptus viscose we like a little better (although it may be more prone to pilling, a big no, no). Still we are keeping these for now and sleeping comfortably with them so far despite the loose fabric. I washed and dried on delicate without any issues.I was impressed by these sheets. The sheets are very soft and seem to be even softer after washing. The sheets fit my queen bed well and are nice sleep one. The sheets are cool and comfortable and provide a nice sleeping environment. The color is very nice and is represented well in the description.Pros: Very soft Cool and comfortableCons: Nothing that I have notedThese are pretty pricey for a full sized sheet, but so far are worth the investment. The material has an awesome feel to it, soft and cuddly, no scratchiness at all, and these are the perfect sheets for hot evenings for coverage without holding in the heat. They hold up to washing and drying perfectly, and come out ready to go right back on the bed without excessive wrinkling. They are intended for those deep mattresses, so I invested in sheet anchors to keep them in place, but that's my only con.In the Winter, I use an electric blanket to save on utilities, but late spring and summer is does not get very cold inside. This is comfortable as a sheet set, and the biggest advantage since I'm heavy-set is it supports a deep pocket for the corners of the fitted sheet. My mattress is a memory foam and about 13" thick. Lately I'm using a blow-up baffle of air pockets like a shallow air mattress to help my circulation. That adds another couple of inches under the fitted sheet, it is set to inflate and deflate every eight minutes to help circulation and prevent blood clots. Memory foam mattresses don't transfer motion, so this is needed. The extra deep pockets also prevent the sheet from coming off on the corners when I get in and out or riding up when I use the back or leg lift on my power adjustable frame. It makes it easier to make the bed as well. My old mattress was a cheap box spring type, was reversable and weighted about 55 pounds. I would stand it up on the box springs widthwise, hook the fitted sheet to the end corners on top and let it drop than hook the other two corners. The bed is in a tight space so I couldn't walk around to all four corners. However, I have a high-end memory mattress today, that weights roughly 150 pounds so I can't pick it up. What I can do is use the powered base I bought with it to lift the head and foot of the bed. I can then hook the corners with the fitted sheet and lower them down. It pays to have a deep pocket corner to do that, or they slip off when lowering. I have some old sheets for that box spring mattress I can't use anymore because the constantly slip off the corners when I sleep and bunch up on the bed. I like this set; it's made for a thick mattress. Recommended.
