There’s good and bad news.First the good:These are the softest, thinnest, most comfortable sheets I have ever had! Fabulous!Now the not-so-good:Yes, they are, strictly speaking “deep pocket” sheets, but after once thru the washer and dryer, they are the minimum yardage to still qualify as queen-sized deep pocket sheets. There is no generous extra yardage top to bottom or side-to side either. If they shrink over time, they will no longer fit the bed. And there is not enough yardage to tuck both sides in.My mattress is, admittedly, one of the old double-pillowtop mattresses. Maning a pillowtop on the top and the bottom of the mattress so you can flip the mattress over now and again. That adds a bit more height to the mattress. No problem with the generous yardage of MyPillow sheets though, by the way.The other possible “con” is that a tremendous amount of lint was released with the first washing. I would say: beware! We have bamboo fibre washcloths which do the same and get a bit thinner with each washing.However I cannot say whether these sheets will continue to shed bits of themselves with repeat washings or not.By the way, I VASTLY prefer sleeping on/ in this bamboo sheet set to the MyPillow Percale sheet set. I don’t care if the bamboo fabric ends up shrinking or shedding more. These sheets are the most comfortable that I have ever slept on!!
