The purple is a muted medium shade of purple, I was hoping for a deeper color, but still very pretty. I also have the gray which is a standard dark to medium gray. I definitely recommend these sheets especially considering the price point. I will be giving them as gifts as well.will buy againI bought a 12 inch cali king mattress. these sheets fit really well with no issues of them pulling off of the corners.I like the materials as well. they are very soft and quite smooth. I have washed them then dried them a few times and they have held up well. I like them more than the sheets I bought at the overpriced bedroom and bathroom store. I will probably order more of these sets in the near future.I like bamboo products, and these sheets didn't disappoint me.I bought these for my boyfriend and now I like sleeping in his bed more than my own.
